Commerical

We offer a professional grounds maintenance service for a wide variety of clients. After detailed discussion with a client, we create a tailor-made annual maintenance programme to suit their particular requirements, taking into account the available budget and the needs of the grounds throughout the year.

All maintenance work is carried out by our trained, courteous staff.

We undertake all aspects of grounds maintenance, including:

All new lawns are laid using our specialist machinery. This consists of a Rotavator, which cultivates the soil, a Blec Stone Rake, which levels and rakes the soil in preparation for lawn seeding. They are followed by a blec Cultipack Seeder, which seeds and compacts the soil leaving a very high quality finish to the lawn.

We are able to carry out all aspects of tree work and care, including felling, clearing, pruning, pollarding and crown reduction. All tree work is carried out by qualified personnel.

Lighting can bring a whole new dimension to the garden. It extends the use of the garden, and makes it possible to view the garden from inside the house at any season or time of day. Dramatic effects can be created by highlighting key plants and ornaments. Lighting has the practical value of making steps, pools and other hazardous places safer. Although lighting particularly complements modern gardens, it is also very effective in older style gardens, providing the lamps are well hidden from view. Electrical installation outdoors should be left to an expert.

We supply a selection of plants suitable for formal hedges, which are useful as boundaries and windbreaks. We supply informal hedges (native hedges) which encourage wildlife and blend with the environment.

We supply large hedging plants to clients for a number of reasons: perhaps to replace an existing hedge, or for privacy from neighbours or some people like the idea of a new garden with a more mature look. Our mature hedging is sold root-balled and, while it is more expensive than smaller plants, this will save several years of growing time.

We offer a design and build service for garden decking, archways, pergolas and gazebos, which are all purpose-built to fit your requirements. A garden deck provides the perfect place to sit and entertain. A pergola or arch will add height and structure to a garden and helps divide the space into garden rooms that add interest and intrigue. Beautiful plants and scented climbers will soon soften the structure to become part of the landscape.

We use all kinds of hardwood and softwood timbers depending on the project. All timber we use comes from renewable sources, our structures are hand built on site using our own skilled craftsmen.
